Job Description:
Customer Service Supervisor The Customer Service Supervisor will oversee and assist customer service employees in the performance of their job duties such as responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues or complaints.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and approving time-off requests.
Coordinating training for new hires.
Upkeep of Customer Service training program and documents.
Point of contact for the team.
Communicating feedback and issues that arise on the team to management - we can meet biweekly or monthly and always available by email or drop-in.
Collect data and generate reports as needed.
Identifies opportunities to update or improve Customer Service procedures and makes recommendations.
Updating voicemail messages for holiday or snow days.
Creating improvement plans for the team.
Ensure members are performing all responsibilities necessary.
Facilitates inter-departmental communication to effectively provide customer support.
Covers shifts as needed.
Interviewing/Hiring.
Disciplinary Action/Termination.
Completes CSR Performance Reviews.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer incoming orders from customers via email, phone or voicemail and clearly notate the orders in the system.
Enter customer data into the system.
Generate pick tickets for the warehouse staff.
Highlight add-on or special items on pick ticket for each customer.
Make changes in the system to existing invoices.
Resolve any other customer issues when called upon.
Assist in preparing final invoice for the customer.
Route the invoices to transportation for each driver.
Process credit requests when drivers return from route and enter them in the system.
Assist with credit memos.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
Ability to coach and mentor customer service representatives.
Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
Ability to use the computer and programs.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Ability to walk into the warehouse occasionally.
